Cricket

The Old Colfeians’ Cricket Club was formed in 1902 and is a KCB Focus Club. It runs four Saturday, two Sunday and occasional midweek sides. The Saturday sides play in the Kent (http://kcl.uk.net) and South Thames (http://stcl.play-cricket.com) leagues while on Sunday one side plays in the South London Sunday League (http://slsl.play-cricket.com) and the other plays friendly matches.

We have a thriving youth section which provides coaching, courses and practice for youngsters aged 8 upwards. North Kent Junior League (http://nkentjunior.play-cricket.com) matches are played from age 11 onwards on Sunday mornings and weekday evenings. We also participate (and coordinate) the KCB Mini Super 8s competition for budding U9 cricketers county-wide.

There is also a girls squad which meets on summer Wednesday evenings and plays matches against local opposition. The U13 side are current champions of the West Kent division of the KCB/SeaFrance U13 League. To find out more visit: http://www.colfeiangirlscc.co.uk.

Together with Blackheath, Old Colfeians is a driving force behind the Greenwich Cricket District Development Group (DDG). Membership of the DDG is open to all clubs in Greenwich operating a youth cricket scheme.
